Irootfor secures a license with esports team Alliance for its Florpad brand
Irootfor-owned Florpad has secured a long-term collaboration with exclusive rights to create a line of products with esports team Alliance
Alliance is known around the world for fielding competitive players in some of the most popular video games. Shortly after being founded, its Dota 2 team, headed by Jonathan “Loda” Berg, gained success with an innovative style of play. They went on to claim the Aegis of Champions by winning The International 2013.
Over the years, Alliance has become one of the most recognizable brands in esports. Acclaimed players such as Adam “Armada” Lindgren lead Alliance’s Super Smash Bros Melee division and it has a Dota 2 legacy that has created countless memories for fans and players alike.
“Irootfor is thrilled to begin this important collaboration with Alliance. It will help cement our position as a world leader in merchandise for the esports and gaming market,” said Irootfor CEO Robert Hjelmér.
“We are delighted to have signed this long-term deal with Alliance! It will help us increase income and brand recognition,” said Sanel Durakovic, Head of Marketing at Florpad.
Alliance will help design the Florpad products and market them to followers around the world.
“It was obvious we had to work with Florpad. Their exciting product will be launching soon, and we wanted to be part of that. Irootfor has built a good foothold on the esports scene, and Florpad will be used in our team house in Gothenburg,” said Jonathan “Loda” Berg.
